Chamisa Chocolate is founded and owned by Amanda Hatherly.
With her unique sense of flavor, Amanda's Chocolate bars are all vegan and gluten free. Each bar is hand poured in Santa Fe, NM and their ingredients are all organic and sustainable sourced.
Chamisa Chocolate roasts their beans in tiny batches to (neurotically) design the roasting levels for each type of bean. Because their batches are so small, they experiment a lot with ingredients and have discovered some wonderful flavor combinations such as Strawberry & Basil, Coffee & Cardamom, and Flower Petals & Sea Salt.
Chamisa Chocolate strives to be a zero-waste business - everything they bring in is made into chocolate or is reused, recycled or composted. Their packaging is made from the lactic acid in plants and is compostable as well.
Amanda Hatherly also is all about giving back to the world. For every bar you buy, one tree is planted in the national forests through the National Forest Foundation.
